Your Hopper Shouldn’t Be a Maintenance Project

Steel hoppers and chutes take a beating.
Aggregate, sand, stone and other abrasive materials continuously slide, impact and scrape against their surfaces. Eventually, operators are dealing with worn steel, material buildup, patch repairs and another maintenance shutdown.
But replacing worn steel with more steel isn't always the best answer.
Look at the wear point, not just the equipment
Polyurethane liners can provide a sacrificial wear surface between the material and the equipment itself.
Depending on the application, they can help:
Reduce abrasion on the underlying steel
Absorb impact
Reduce material adhesion and buildup
Extend maintenance intervals
Make worn sections easier to replace
This is especially useful in hoppers, chutes, transfer points and other high-wear material-handling areas.

Don't wait until you see a hole

Where are we repeatedly welding, patching or replacing steel?
